Philippians (Wide).jpg

Our forefathers believed every American had the God-given right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. From a young age, we are encouraged to chase the American dream.

But what happens if you achieve all your personal and professional goals? Will you be satisfied? And what happens when life doesn’t work the way you planned? How do you process disappointment, failure, and tragedy?

The Apostle Paul understood worldly success. He also understood hardship and pain. A former Jewish leader, he gave up everything to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. His missionary endeavors caused him to experience prison, persecution, and eventually cost him his life. And yet...Paul had overflowing joy. He had contentment. He had peace.

It may not feel like it is possible, but you can experience that sort of indestructible joy too! Join us this summer as we walk verse-by-verse through Paul’s letter to the Philippians. You’ll grow spiritually and more importantly, you’ll discover what true happiness is all about.
