Flocked , fake or fresh from the farm—decorating the family Christmas tree is a beautiful holiday tradition. As we hang the familiar ornaments, we are reminded of past Christmas celebrations and the people who made them special. But there’s a different kind of family tree that impacts our lives in much more substantial ways. It doesn’t matter if you are proud of your roots or part of a bad branch, our family lineage is a gift that cannot be returned.
Jesus can relate. The Son of God was also the Son of Man. The drama his relatives were involved in makes even the most dysfunctional family party seem like peace on Earth.
And yet, Jesus’s family line was God’s design.
Join us this Christmas for a series that will take you back to Jesus’s roots. We’ll meet the Savior’s messed up relatives, but along the way we’ll discover God’s blueprint of grace.
