Financial Peace University is designed to help you get out of debt and effectively manage the resources God has given you. This 9-week class will meet on Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 pm at Coastal's East End Campus (426 Winnie).
The course cost is $100, which covers the FPU membership kit that includes workbooks, audio CDs of the nine lessons, and other tools to help you manage your finances. Scholarships are available. Coastal is proud to partner with the Opened Bible Academy to present, “Living By the Book,” a one day seminar with Dr. Bob Stephens designed to give participants the skills needed to study, understand, and apply the Bible. The seminar will take place on Sat, Mar 23rd from 9am-4pm. Lunch included. Cost is $20 per person. Register at the Next Step Table.

Every Christian is called to be a disciple-maker, but the reality is that very few Christians ever become spiritual parents. Community Groups are small group Bible studies that meet in homes around the island. In a group, you’ll have the chance to build friendships, engage in conversational Bible study, and share prayer requests. We have groups available for all life stages and on multiple nights of the week. Stop by the Next Step table or contact Amy Wheeler to learn how you can get involved. Most groups will begin meeting the week of January 6th.
Join us Sunday morning, December 23rd for Christmas @ Coastal, with hot chocolate, Christmas carols, and a message from Lead Pastor Aaron Sanders. We will have services at 9:00 & 10:30 am. The Reef (1st—4th) and The Wave (5th—8th) will not meet, but the Cove (Birth—K) will still be offered.
Jingle Jam is a Christmas party for the whole family! Kickoff the season with live music, games, ornament decorating, and learning about the greatest gift ever given. Coastal is a member of The 4B Disaster Response Network, a group of area churches working to help families recover from Hurricane Harvey. 4B refers to the ministry’s geographic boundaries, the Beltway to the Beach, Brazoria County to Galveston Bay.
Similar to the big project last March, we will be working with 8 Days of Hope in a massive coordinated push to help our community. We are asking local volunteers to commit 3 days during the Oct 13-20th window. The days do not have to be consecutive and you can sleep at home. Meals, projects, and a T-shirt are provided.
